• 8 cups cold water
  • 1-2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 2 cups carrots, grated
  • 2 & 1/2 cups rinsed lentils (red and/or green)
  • 1 (16oz) can of tomatoes or tomato sauce
  • 3 cups red or green cabbage, chopped

This lentil soup has been a Steeves family favorite for many years. Combine all ingredients in soup pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 1 & 1/2 hours. Add water if it is too thick. Add more Bragg’s to taste.
